2008 Quilt Show - Raffle Quilt
Designed and constructed by the members of the Friendship Star Quilters, Inc., guild. About 150 members made basked blocks, assembled the quilt, or appliquéd the border. Each pattern was distributed in the Quiltline newsletter. Members used their own fabric (no jewel tones) for the blocks and backgrounds. Quilted by Juanita Canfield, FSQ member.
A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales will go to Ionia R Whipple Home www.whipperhome.org and the Family Services Agency www.familyservicesagency.org.
The raffle was drawn on April 27th, 2008.
