August 4 - Mary-Jeanine Ibarguen
All About Busting the Fabric Stash!
Mary-Jeanine Ibarguen is known for her Stashbusting lectures and workshops, as well as her Florida Quilt Network newsletter and website. (If you’re ever in Florida, you’ll want to check out the Calendar page to see what fun quilting event is happening then.) She’s been quilting for 36 years and teaching for 23 years, all over the state of Florida (plus a few other states). Mary-Jeanine has published six patterns, appeared on a sewing TV show and has developed quite an international following with her online series called “Tips Tools & Techniques Club”. Her specialty is adding extras to the learning process, whether it’s a quick lesson in pressing, successful rotary cutting, or new thoughts on free motion quilting designs. Mary-Jeanine resides in Maitland, Fl with her husband.

Quilt-O...Bingo for Quilters!
The Program Committee will lead guild members in several exciting rounds of Quilt-O, a quilt-themed Bingo game! Players can purchase two Quilt-O cards for the price of $2 and two fat quarters (additional cards may be purchased for $1 & 1 fat quarter per card). Winners of each round will receive a selection of fat quarters from those donated.

Journey to Inspiration
Inspiration comes in many forms; sometimes it just hits you, other times it is a process something like a journey. Tina’s story is the latter, a journey from Wife and Mother to a full-time pattern designer. March 2 - Nancy Hershberger
Finding My Voice
In this one-hour lecture, Nancy talks about her journey from traditional pieced bed quilts to art quilts. She also touches on her work at various national parks and displays several of her pieces inspired by them. Her talk is often followed by a lively question and answer period.
