The “To Do” List for FSQ Members click here to open in a new page and print that list, baby!
July 2026
Hi Liz,
So, I got the “you have not paid your dues for the next membership year” email from Carrie and Jan, deservedly. Wasn’t able to make the very last meeting…but anyway. Turns out I also forgot to pick up raffle tickets from Karen–the whole year! Totally convinced myself that it was done and was just chatting away with her at the May meeting. That’s when I discovered my delinquency. I was Mortified (and I had spent my cash-on-hand on whatever the speaker was selling so I was broke…) Karen was nice about it–she’s always nice–but I had to mail money because I didn’t adequately plan for FSQ “events”. I was relying on my memory–something I did not do when I was working. Lists, baby, Lists. Effective. Efficient. Lists.
I got to thinking of all the things our guild offers and what else was I missing but for a little bit of planning I could fully participate and really deeply enjoy FSQ. That thought sat with me over the summer.
Behold. I have made a “To Do List”! I will righteously check off dues, raffle tickets, Show & Tell, and participate in Service Projects Workshops. I will read up about the speaker and decide if I can squeeze in Dinner with the Speaker. Birthday emails. Committee meetings—it’s all within reach.
Then I had the thought “Perhaps other members would benefit from this To Do List!?” (and I could also check off the “submit an article to the newsletter” item! This made me laugh so it’s already a fun thing.)
Attached is the “To Do List” that I hope other people can use too. Thanks for all you do for the guild.
Lorie
