President’s Message Karen Kehl
Hello Quilters,
Here it is already April and time for a Celebration of Quilts! I hope you have entered your quilts and
are looking forward to the show. I can’t wait to see all of the quilts. I love how we all have this
common passion for quilting, but we express it so many different ways.
The quilt show always helps me learn more about my friends in the guild. I get to see everyone’s
best work, and learn more about the stories behind the quilts. I also love spending time with you all
as we are volunteering. Some of my most treasured friendships started sitting at volunteer tables in
quilt shows.
I also encourage you to bring a friend or two with you to the show. While quilt shows are not
everyone’s idea of an ideal way to spend a morning or afternoon, you might be surprised at who will
be interested.
