President’s Message Judy Hoffman
Last month, we looked back at 40 years of FSQ. Again, thank you to all who worked so hard on this
project. Everyone I have spoken to about the October meeting have said they were so impressed.
With the recorded presentation, found literature, sweet treats and presents for all, the evening was a
great success.
Now we look forward to the future of FSQ. Coming soon will be our own quilt show in April. Again,
many members have stepped up to plan and organize. Numerous members completed the guilds’
own quilt “Sunshine and Roses” and it has visited not only our meetings but a number of other area
guilds where we sell raffle tickets.
Be sure to read through the rest of the newsletter to see if there are aspects of our guild that would
interest you.
Last thought, recently I was telling someone about our guild and what we do. I really wanted to give
her information that she could easily remember later. A simple FSQ business card would have been
so easy. We will have stacks of 5 business cards at the November 7th meeting. Be sure to take a
stack if you need some.
